ITINERARY:
Day-1 Patna Arrive at Patna. Visit Patna Sahib Gurudwara (the birthplace of Guru Govind Singh- the 10th & last Guru of Sikhs) Also visit Patna musueum, Planetarium & Golghar. In evening, pay homage to Mahavir (Sankat Mochan Hanuman) temple. This temple ia known as Manokamna temple. Thousands of devotees from different part of country come to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman. O/n at hotel in Patna.
Day-2 Patna- Bodhgaya.Travel to Bodhgaya (120 kms /4 hrs). Bodhgaya is where Buddha attained enlightment under a tree, Visit to the Mahabodhi temple , Giant Buddha statue, Mahabodhi tree There are number of temples/moneastries set up by different South East Asian Countries. Guests may visit them time permitting. O/n at hotel in Bodhgaya
Day-3 Bodhgaya- Rajgir Proceed to Ragir (70 kms/ 2 hrs). Visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda) and monasteries built by Japanese devotees of the Buddha on top of the Ratnagiri Hills. Guest can use ropeway/cable cars to reach at top or they can use stairs. Also visit Brahmakund- a watepool formed from seven hot springs. It's a holy place for bathing & have medicinal properties and healing features. Visit Swarna Bhandar cave, Jarasandh ka akhada and ruins of Ajatshatrru fort. O/n at hotel in Rajgir.
Day-4 Rajgir- Deoghar Via Nalanda Procced to Nalanda (15 km) to visit the ruins of worldfamous Nalanda University- one of the oldest universities of world & a centre for advanced learnings of that time. Later, proceed to Deoghar or Baidyanath Dham (195 km/ 5 hrs). O/n at Deoghar.
Day-5 Deoghar Morning, pay a visit to Baba Baidyanath temple- ancient Shiva temple (a Jyotirlinga temple). Alos visit other temples in the complex. According to Hindu beliefs, it is at this place where Ravana offered his 10heads one after other, as a sacrifice to Lord Shiva. later, make an excursion to Basukinath temple (45 km). It's said that no pilgrimage of Baba Vaidyanath is complete without visiting Basukinath. O/n at hotel in Deoghar.
